Trial & Subscription Policy.
This policy explains how evaluation environments, conversion to paid service, and post-trial handling are managed.
Purpose
SHIFTFM offers trial access so that an organization can evaluate whether the platform is suitable for its operations before committing to a paid subscription.
A trial period is not a permanent subscription and does not by itself commit either party to continuing the service after the trial ends.
Duration and Scope
The duration and scope of a trial are defined in the relevant offer, invitation, or agreement.
Trial features and limits may differ from those of the final paid subscription.
Trial Data
The customer remains responsible for data entered during a trial as if it were entered into a live operating environment.
The customer should not use a trial period to enter personal or sensitive data that is unnecessary for evaluating the service.
Operational Use During Evaluation
Real operational workflows may be tested during the trial, but the customer remains responsible for operational decisions and for checking outputs while evaluating the platform.
A trial environment is subject to the service scope and level described in the trial offer. Commitments specific to a paid subscription do not apply to the trial automatically unless they are stated expressly in that trial offer.
Trial Limits
A trial may be limited by commercial and technical parameters that support fair evaluation and service protection.
As a relevant trial limit approaches, SHIFTFM may notify the user that the available trial capacity is nearing its limit.
Reaching a disclosed trial limit during legitimate evaluation is not itself abuse. SHIFTFM may stop additional creation in that category until the customer moves to a paid subscription or a different approved scope.

- Specific functional restrictions
Misuse
- Creating repeated trials to avoid subscription.
- Creating unusually large datasets to probe platform limits without authorization.
- Using the trial for penetration testing, vulnerability testing, stress testing, load testing, or performance testing without written permission.
- Using scripts or automation intended to bypass trial limits or technical restrictions.
- Attempting to bypass technical or commercial limits.
- Using the trial as free production capacity after the evaluation purpose has ended.
Conversion to Subscription
When the customer decides to adopt the platform, the transition proceeds according to the approved quotation or commercial offer.
When a customer moves from a trial to a paid subscription, SHIFTFM works to continue the customer’s data and environment settings through the approved service-conversion process. If a different transition path is required and may affect data, that is explained to the customer before implementation.
End of Trial Without Subscription
When a trial ends without conversion to a paid subscription, the trial environment may be closed and its data may be removed according to the applicable trial closeout cycle. Customers should save any data they need before the trial period ends if they do not intend to continue with the service.
The archival period described for paid subscriptions does not automatically apply to free trial environments.
Policy Updates
SHIFTFM may update this Trial & Subscription Policy from time to time without obtaining a new individual approval from every customer or user where the change is non-material. Non-material changes may include, without limitation, clarifications of wording, formatting or structural updates, contact-information updates, correction of errors, clarification of an existing process, operational or technical descriptions that do not materially reduce customer or user rights or materially increase their obligations, and changes needed to reflect existing platform functionality without materially changing the legal relationship.
Non-material updates become effective when the updated policy is published, and the Last updated date on this page is revised accordingly. If a change is material and materially affects customer rights, user rights, data-processing practices, material customer obligations, material service restrictions, payment or subscription obligations, or another substantial element of the legal relationship, SHIFTFM will provide notice through the platform and/or another appropriate communication channel.
Where applicable law or the nature of the change requires renewed acceptance, SHIFTFM may require the affected customer or user to accept the updated policy before continuing normal use. For changes that do not legally require renewed explicit acceptance, continued use of the service after the effective date may constitute acceptance of the updated policy, subject always to the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
